MESSAGE
In 2023, Karuizawa International Ballet Competition was established for adult amateur ballet dancers, not only in Japan, from around the world.
Our mission is to create an opportunity for adult dancers to dance on stage and to encourage their passion for Ballet. We offer a positive competitive atmosphere with Juries and share their knowledge. Participants will develop their ballet technique, and also friendships and connections with people who share the same “Love of Ballet” as you.
Its venue is located in Karuizawa (International goodwill cultural tourism town) Nagano, where’s a popular destination to enjoy the colorful autumn foliage in Japan. Join us and make it one of the annual events!

Bar 45mins, Center 30mins, Center jump 15mins. During these 90 minutes, he gives you his great tips for turning technique you will never forget. You can learn the movement of your arms, the lower body’s potion and its coordination, also he helps you to find your most easy-to-turn spot and more and more. Enjoy his energetic fun class!

Do you know the Cecchetti Method? The Imperial Ballet School (the current Vaganova Ballet Academy), the Ballets Russes, and the Royal Ballet have adopted its elements into their own training. Miho is one of the teachers who obtained the Cecchetti Final Diploma. You would be given some valuable Port de bras tips from her.
